We called for a reservation early in the afternoon, but they said they did not take same day reservations. We have been by the last few nights watching the sunset at the McDowell Preserve, so we hoped that we could get in anyway. We arrived shortly after 6 pm and were promptly seated outside. Once our server greeted us, things went well. I tried the Vig Manhattan which was very interesting. We had a couple appetizers and ordered dinner. Our server, Brittany, was very informative on what her favorite things were as well as answering questions we had. Apps were good, dinner came quickly. I asked for a good white wine and was very pleased with the recommendation. We chose The Vig as our daughter is vegetarian and it offered plenty of good options. Will return on next trip!

Excellent environment and patio! Our group of 8 was well taken care of from appetizer through desert courses. Many menu items had a local flare that was welcomed by our out of town guests. The jalapeño dip, skirt steak and butterscotch cake were memorable high points. The wait staff was nice enough to offer and open the large door/windows which eliminated our wait time for the patio and also gave us a nice environment.

In town visiting and we stopped in for happy hour on a Monday, place got quite busy by the time we left. Our service was excellent, our server Jessica kept checking in on us and made sure our cocktails were never empty. The ‘Broken Irish’ and ‘Bennett and Bubbles’ were particularly good. Food was also great—the poke bowl was the highlight for me.

We had 2 great entries tonight. The mac n cheese and the seared Ono. Would order both again. Friday night around happy hour so busy but service was still pretty good. Nice setting outdoors.

Food was good (4 stars). Had live music which was very enjoyable (5 stars). Can't rate the beverages..just had water. Spacious and nice views. I was there near noon so they still had breakfast/brunch fare to choose from as well as heavier fare.
