Good service and superb food. The “Christmas” (red and green chilies) New Mexican style layered enchilada was outstanding. Fantastic blend of flavorful spices... not just “hot” for the sake of it, but a little spicy burn with a lovely complex of flavors. Sitting out on the patio just after sunset was quite pleasant, with the evaporative coolers taking just the edge off a hot day. Will definitely be back.

Nice to have a neighborhood restaurant serving New Mexican cuisine. We made the mistake of going on the Friday night the week of the Phoenix Open and it was very crowded.... No matter, we were told our wait would be 20-30 minutes and sat next to the hostess station. After 30 minutes, the 3 hostesses on duty had clearly forgotten us although we (party of 3) only sat 2 feet away from them - several parties of 3 and 4 were seated ahead of us. When were able to get the attention of one of the hostesses, we were seated. Food was good. A manager must have been made aware of our wait and served us a scoop of ice cream with wink as if to say "we good" Meh..... Will make another attempt once the snowbirds head home

We come to Scottsdale once or twice a year to get out of the cold Minnesota winters. We always make sure to come here for drinks and a meal. We are never disappointed. They have a unique twist to their menu fare, always interesting. Great service and the owner is on site making sure things run smoothly.

The food was fabulous. I had the Thursday blue plate special- yesterday's leftover meatloaf, plus a side salad and dessert. The atmosphere was decent with live music but the tables were a bit to close to each other.

Food is great...ambiance so-so. Best is the tenderloin relleno. Beans and rice are just beans and rice. Salsa with chips is very good. Liked the smokey red sauce over the watery green.
