We have been going to the Avondale (gateway) location on and off for several years. Food and service were usually OK. Within the last year it seems as if the place is going downhill quick. Our most recent and final experience Monday 3/12. The place was fairly empty --15 minute wait. Server walks over with her pen in her mouth, takes pen out of mouth, scratches her runny nose with her finger. I figure what the heck, we are here lets just order. 1 water and 1 bottle of corona. Server walks back from bar with my beer clutched in her hand, still rubbing her runny nose with my cold beer in said hand. ---my stomach turned immediately, got up and walked out. Went home and had a salad.

Went in for a quick work lunch on a Thursday. No indicator for Seat-yourself or wait to be seated, and most of the booths were either taken or sitting dirty. When we finally sat ourselves, the waitress dropped off the menus and took our drink order and returned with our waters fairly quickly. After that we didn't see her for 13 minutes. I ordered the lettuce wraps and a couple of sliders. When we got our food roughly 16 minutes later, both of the buns on my sliders were burnt and hard as a rock, like they had been sitting directly under a heat lamp for a long time. The chicken wraps also left much to be desired. After we gave up trying to stomach what we had ordered, it took another 10 minutes to flag down a waitress to get a check. The food was horrible, the service was abhorrent, and honestly i'm starting to feel a little sick an hour after being there...

This place deserves 0 stars , worse experience of my life !! I brought my kids to diner this past Sunday and not only did I receive the worse service ever by the rude waitress she also set a hot burning skillet right in front of my 10 month old baby who was sitting in a high chair burning both of her little hands ... careless about the situation she admitted she knew the skillet was hot and still decided to place it in front of my baby, I don’t even want to think this was done purposely unless this girl is really dumb enough to do such a thing , didn’t even care that my baby was crying at the top of her lungs ...when I asked to speak to the manager all he can say is “the bill is taken care of” I expected to get better reaction out of the manager at least a written report but unfortunately neither one cared nor asked if my baby was ok even worse didn’t even called paramedics for assistance.. my daughters little fingers immediately blistered and ended up taking her into the ER.. come to find out the burns were actually more severe than I thought, at the end of the night she ended up with bandages on both her hands , I just can’t believe these heartless employees can be so careless to such delicate Situation , and how careless a waitress can be about customers , shows how much they care about anything that happens inside that restaurant, it was such a bad situation i wouldn’t dare go back to that place or recommend to anyone ... I’ve never experienced anything like this and wouldn’t wish upon anyone, maliciously done or not this girl shouldn’t even be a waitress , I hope at least corporate will care about this matter

Great feeling in the building for a good lunch. Beer was great and cold, wings were amazing. Food was average at best. But the hot wing sauce was Great!
