As a single guy, 21 years old and considering I almost always go out by myself as I live in the area, they're definitely a 4.5 star in my book. Excellent service for people who eat there, and generally speaking, the food here is top tier and left me with a good chunk of leftovers my first time coming here. Would be a 5 star easily if I was coming with another person, girlfriend, or a guy friend but 4 this time because I didn't personally like that it was really really family centric. Overall, if you want a place that you can go to a couple times a month or two months, you can't go wrong on this fresh take on lean, mean Mexican cuisine, and don't mind the largely family centered atmosphere here!!!

Very satisfying food, nice flavours, large servings, great value and friendly service! I was here with my family for the first time. From the outside this place didn’t look like much, because the signs/lighting were dark. But once inside the staff were very friendly to seat us and also explain the menu. We had a great time thnx to our waiter Diego 👍

Amazing food! Been coming here since the 90s and will continue too. Have tried literally everything here and never had a bad dish....only word of advice is only go to the original location on Indian school, I wouldn't suggest going to the bell location. Ya its newer and looks fancier but the food is just not the same quality

AMAZING AS ALWAYS..... everybody is always so kind and helpful there. This is the most authentic Mexican restaurant that you're going to find in the Phoenix area. Both locations are exactly the same there's no difference between them the food tastes the same and the atmosphere is the same. My waiter that I request every time I go in his name is Mauricio and he works at the location on 67th Avenue and Indian School and has been there for many many years he is amazing and always always happy he goes above and beyond to take care of his customers and we love him. This restaurant is a must

My family and I have been going to both Popos locations for many years. They have consistently served good food as well as had good service. I have noticed a musty odor the last few times I have dined in each of the restaurant locations. I also noticed the carpet and the cloth on the booth seats are both very dark in color and have an odor. In my opinion, it would be nice if the carpet was replaced with tile or stained concrete and the booth seats were replaced with vinyl. This would make everything easier to clean and would reduce the musty odor in the restaurants.
