No frills BBQ. I really liked the food. Sauce is sweet and vinegary. The meat on the spare ribs falls off of the bones. The brisket is soft. The people who work there are super friendly. Lots of paper towels mean that it is easy to clean up. Large portions of food. The sides were good too. If you are concerned with food rather than atmosphere, I would highly recommend it. If you want any atmosphere whatsoever you should go to another joint. Bathrooms are in serious need of a remodel.

The food is always good and the man behind the counter is awesome - always feels like visiting friends. The decore is less impressive. I usually get the food to go, but I never sit next to the open trash bins.

I was bummed out because they were out of a lot of menu items an hour and a half before closing So if you have your heart set on something particular get there early. Their more on the pricey side but the food tastes amazing. The staff was very sweet

Both locations use to be good. I went to the one on Van Buren and the brisket tasted rotten. Later I thought I'd give it another try at their central st location and it tasted rotten there too. I'm not that picky of a eater and both times I couldn't take a second bite. I give it 1 star cause the collard greens were good and the soda was average.

Decent BBQ . ...fast service.....a bit pricey for the surroundings.
