A little confused by the high reviews at this place although I may have been on an off night. I ordered the pulled pork and brisket 2x2 meal. The 'fatty brisket' was more like brisket fat with a little bit of meat on it. The pulled pork was dry and less than impressive as well. The Smoakie beans were under-seasoned. The potato salad was really good if you aren't looking for a mustard potato salad. I travel for work and have had the luxury of experiencing BBQ in many high-end as well as hole-in-the-wall places. I can only think that this was Arizona good, and I should probably have driven the 30 minutes to Rudy's for the money I spent. I can't say I'll be back to give it a second chance.

I love this place!! Collard greens are very clean and savory, ribs tender, corn bread sweet and pulled bbq pork my favorite extremely good!

My first time here. I'm a really big BBQ fan so I was going to be very critical. I try to mix of items from the brisket, ribs and hot links. All the meats were cooked very well and we're absolutely delicious. The fatty brisket lived up to its name it was full of flavor. As for the sides I tried the potato salad and smoakie beans. The potato salad was average at best however the beans were amazing. My only criticism was the barbecue sauce was a little spicy for my taste. I will recommend adding a non spicy version as an option. I will definitely be back and recommend this barbecue place to anyone who truly enjoys BBQ.

I don't normally comment on places I've eaten, but , need to make an exception this time. I've seen this place several times but today was my first experience trying the food. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I do enjoy barbecue occasionally, but, until today, I have found very few barbecue restaurants that I would return to. I ordered a brisket sandwich and a half a rack of the ribs. The brisket was fresh, tender, and flavorful. The barbecued ribs were also outstanding. The meat was fresh and flavorful and prepared in a manner where the meat was very tender but not mushy, which would indicate a case of severe boiling before finishing on the grill. Definitely will return.
