So I ordered the steak. And being not a fan of Blu Cheese, I requested the steak WITHOUT the Blu Cheese demi glaze. The waitress said that they can do a regular demi glaze without the blue cheese in it. The steak arrives, beautifully done snd presented well. I first sample the potatoes and then the New Broccoli. Then I dip into taste the demi glaze: BLUE CHEESE. I taste it again just to make sure. Yes, Blu Cheese. The steak is ruined! Now. I'm going to be frank. That Blu Cheese Demi is HORRID! IT TASTES LIKE ACID REFLUX. I'm not Kidding! I couldn't even cut the steak the glaze was so bad. Now I did remind the waitress I specified NO blu cheese and she did remember and they took my plate back. And when it returned, the Demi glaze had been replaced. And accepted it the waty it was, but they must have simply scraped the old glaze off because I could still taste that oddly discusting blu cheese glaze. I ended up scraping all the glaze off to the side and continued to eat the just barable steak. But the glaze had already soured the plate as if it had previously been eaten.

When you tire of the typical southwest cuisine come to this lovely spot. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar with a generous portion of Calamari. The Calamari was presented as a salad of sorts and was interesting and very flavorful.

Very disappointed in the service. Only reason I'm not rating one star is that we went towards closing. Food was okay, however not worth the price. I ordered the Achiote Chicken (can't remember the whole name), which was decent, however others at my table considered returning their plates do to various issues. The best dish was the Calimari, very tastey. For the restaurant based in the heart of Westin La Paloma, I was very underwhelmed.
