Good atmosphere, always a nice place to take our family. Enjoy the vegetarian options and great kids menu. It can get packed but it means they are doing something right. Recommended east side option for Mexican food.

We have had good experiences often at this restaurant. Tonight was an exception. The menus and tables were sticky. One menu had food on it as did my napkin. The food was a long time in being served and was lukewarm at best. The waitstaff did not return to ask if everything was fine. It was not. There was little green chili gravy on my chimi although I paid $3.95 to get it Elegante Style. The manager actually argued with us about the service and food. He did offer a free desert and took 25% off but it did not make up for an unpleasant fairly expensive dining experience. The waiter threw the bill down on the table. Will be a while before we visit again.

Great service and ambiance is good. Food was very good although $$$. It leaves a negative impression when informed of a charge for more chips but having a great waitress somewhat made up for it but I'd expect better from El Charro.

The restaurant was mostly empty yet it took an extraordinary long time to even get a visit for our drinks. We ordered our drinks and then it was another long wait for our waitress to take our order. Long wait for food. Didn't get offered refill on chips or drinks. Ordered the carne seca which we both found inedible. She got nanas tacos, meh. It was clear I only took a bite when she picked up the food with no question as to whether it was any good. No offer for any compensation. Waited to pay bill and got up to find her so we could leave. Over priced poor quality food and service.

Slightly better than average Mexican food. Carne Seca wasn't particularly good. Expect long wait during busy times (30+ minutes)
