On the plus side, this place is worth driving an hour and a half to just to get the onion ring Tower! And the atmosphere is good and the patio is good but the food is quite average. My daughter and I both got the chicken sandwiches and the chicken was very good, but the rest of the sandwich was Bland, it just didn't have any Spark. They could have upped the taste with a better sauce a better zestier sauce or something to give it some appeal but it had none. However the bun was really good. The service leaves something to be desired. The waitress seemed to not know much about the menu, and when they brought the food they brought us fries that we did not order and a soup that we did not order and we had to straighten out our order. My soup was some kind of in house meatball soup that I wouldn't feed to my dog. It lacked taste again. We're looking forward to trying a different restaurant up on Mount Lemmon next time. The food all looks good but it seems like there's no inspiration by the chef or the preparers. The meal was a pretty big disappointment considering we left with a bill of about $65. Not highly recommended

Hamburgers and soup were excellent. My friend had a pork sandwich and the pork was good but the bread was like concrete. Their homemade potato chips were greasy and very very hard. We had to wait an hour and 15 minutes for the food!!!! Our waiter, Kenny S, was great. He was very apologetic and gave us a free piece of cheesecake. I will not go back. I will go to the Iron Door.

Saw this fun place on our drive so we decided to stop. Got seated right away into a booth. The waiters and waitresses did not even look at us for 10 minutes and helped the 3-4 tables around us- coming back to them each about 3 times in the 10 minutes. We got up and left and no one even looked at us or said anything. Very poor customer service.

Don’t waste your time. These people LIE. First I called to ask how busy they would be at around 1:30 was told they weren’t busy. When I arrived I was told it would be a twenty minute wait after 20 minutes I was told it would be another 15 to 20 minutes at which time they seated another party of six that were behind me when I first arrived. I won’t be back.

I give it an ok after several visits... I get that it's in a destination town up a mountain, but frankly the portion sizes for the pricing is not great... it's about $13+ for whatever you order from a burger to a salad. I had the meatloaf plate this week and it was literally the smallest amount of mashed potatoes I've ever seen... potatoes are cheap... heap them on to add value. I mean there were more pickled beets on my plate that potatoes. Also, plan to spend $7.25 for a pint of beer... good selection, but again... priced well out of line for any pint of beer I've had at any resort town. I guess they have a captive audience up there... makes me want to pack a picnic from now on. Good selection and friendly service, but just be aware of the pricing.
