Really expensive for the portion size and presentation of food. It would be great if it wasn't so expensive. Plus the side looks like its falling apart and has an awful sewer smell.

I've always loved Tacos, but since going gluten free, I eat them even more. I love to try new places as well. Taco Shop is on my way home from and, though I've passed it many times, I had never stopped. This place is a gem. This is a small place, seating maybe 20 or so, but the food is quite tasty. There is a small salsa bar that had 4 salsas, conveniently label with Hot, Medium and Mild labels. Service was prompt. The taco shells we're light and crisp, the fillings were tasty and ample. The sides were flavorful. The rice was seasoned mildly and I'm pretty sure the frijoles were made in-house. Taco Shop is easy to find. The prices are competitive and the food is tasty.

Because of its location to me I don't go often but try to make it a few times a year. They have my favorite shredded beef tacos in Tucson. I think it's the #1. During the late afternoon when I usually go it is nice and peaceful. At night it has tended to be more crowded probably because of its closeness to the University.
