This place is a bit of a dive but the food and the prices are excellent. I was craving dumplings and this place popped up on Google. I tried the fried dumplings and the pork and cabbage dumplings. Fried dumplings were $4.75 and you get 8. The pork and cabbage dumplings were $6 but you get 15 (I actually got closer to twenty). They were incredibly tasty. The restaurant is small and the staff's English skills aren't the greatest but just be patient and you'll be fine. Food came out super quickly. If you are looking for all authentic Chinese place near the university this is the place to go. Credit cards accepted over $5 and there is a decent sized parking lot as well.

Best dumplings and noodle soups. Large portions for good prices, highly recommend the scallion pie appetizer

One of my favorite places on Earth because it's so nostalgic yet delicious, it serves many and the place is always packed during the day when school is going. It is a destination that should be explored by everyone that passes by in Tucson. The feel of the restaurant isn't five star quality, but it is a great place for a get together with some friends or a quirky awkward date. The food is brilliant, and is not more than that of 10 dollars a plate. It is truly a gem in the little desert city I call home. Very ideal place to dine if you are staying in between semesters or you are a Tucson native.

Love the authentic feel. Food was great. They have food that isn't in your typical Chinese American/chain restaurants. Definitely great if you love to explore and try different foods. Not for everyone though, especially if you are a picky eater.
