Chips with sauce and salsa were good and so was the chicken fajitas I ordered. Not fancy but not bad. That being said..portion was small for the price and didn't really come with anything to add to make fajitas besides the meat and peppers/onions. Service could have been better. My husband asked for an extra tortilla a couple times and she kept saying she'd bring more but didn't. Waitress refilled my husband's soda without asking and kept my friends well stocked with beers but never asked or got me more water once. After one refill of chips with salsa/sauce they charge you $3 I believe which I've never seen before. Fairly busy for a Friday night but we were in the restaurant side and it wasn't loud. I came with my husband, our 3 and 4 year old and friends and it was a good environment for the 6 of us.

Great lunch specials. However it did take some time for our food to come out. Shredded beef is much more flavorful than the chicken. They have a refreshing spiced ice tea but beware it can be very sweet. Wish they would pull that sweetener back a bit. Place was clean and staff friendly.

My wife and I eat at Little Mexico Steakhouse about once a month. It has good Mexican food. Their weekday lunch menu is very reasonably priced and includes a drink. Yet, we mostly eat there for dinner. You can't go wrong with anything on their Mexican food list. My favorite is the two shredded beef tacos. When I eat the tacos, the beef juice drips on the rice and makes the rice taste extra special. I tried two of their steaks in years past....I don''t recommend any steaks since I do not think the cooks know how to cook steak. The tortilla chips with salsa dip and sour cream dip are very good. My wife and I typically dip our chips in the salsa first, then the sour cream. It makes for a tasty change from salsa alone. We have never been in the bar, but it looks like a typical Tucson bar. A little tip if you need to go west or north when leaving the restaurant. Follow the parking lot to the back of the restaurant and go behind the ARCO gas station. You meet up with Cardinal Ave. It is much easier and safer than trying to immediately getting onto Valencia and making a u-turn.

My wife and I have mainly been there for breakfast, always good. Also de cently priced. Selections are primarily American with enough Mexican standards to satisfy most. Service is very good better than most. You can't go wrong with Little Mexico.

I'm giving this place 3 stars because the wait staff isn't always the quickest or accommodating. The food on the other hand is delicious and consistent.
