We stopped in because we had about 50 minutes before our movie started. The hostess gave us a choice between the bar and a little wait for a booth and we choose the bar. There was plenty of seating at the actual counter and the staff was fairly quick to take our order but we'd had enough time to peruse the menu that we were ready to order food before she asked about drinks. The food came in a reasonable amount of time, however I asked for no tomatoes and got a huge slice on the burger. Thankfully I'm not allergic I just don't prefer them. Other than that the food was good, just on par for a bacon cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back again, it's just nothing that I'm going to crave or I have to go back soon because it was amazing.

Fast and friendly service. Our server was very attentive and didn't rush us out. Nice atmosphere and decor. Clean. Everyone's food was great burgers and their bowls awesome. Fish tacos I should have known better. My fish was super dry and over cooked. Not the best choice on my part. I would still go to this restaurant again and get a burger.

Too long, didn't read: This restaurant gave me bad diarrhea, ruining my birthday. I had a mushroom burger with a fried egg, as well as ice cream on top of a brownie to celebrate my birthday. After I left the restaurant, I was feeling a sense of dread inside me, like my body was anxious. I went to watch Infinity Wars at the theater, and after a few minutes of watching it, I had to go to the bathroom. It wasn't to bad. Things settled down, but then near the climax of the movie, I felt the sudden urge to go again, and I had painful diarrhea. It lasted for a long time, with me having to flush and change toilet seat covers to save people from the smell. By the time I was finished, so was the movie. I left the theater, tense and still with lingering discomfort. I don't know what it is, if Islands doesn't handle their ingredients in the proper manner, have health code violations, or if someone is being nasty in the kitchen. Either way, I don't want to eat there again. I don't want to be hanging out with my friends and then being interrupted by something I ate. Islands metaphorically and literally makes me sick.

Good food and prompt service. You may experience awake during peak times because they're in demand. Parking can also be a factor. Just be patient.

I love islands happy hour. I go probably 2 to 3 times a month. The service is great, especially in the bar. My 2 favorite are Nicholle and AJ. They are very accomodating and friendly. I love cheese fries!
