I was brought here for dinner by a local friend after a day of travel. He described it as one of his go-to's, and I absolutely understand why. If I had one nearby, it would be for me as well. Very open and clean space. Plenty of menu options for plenty of dietary choices. The staff is very friendly. I ordered the backyard marinated steak plate with seasonal veggies and baby spinach greens, and boy did that hit the spot after a day of airport food. The line progressed quickly and once we got our food, a table in the airy patio section was easy to find. I found the food to be delicious, with the steak cooked to a perfect medium rare and full of balanced flavor, the veggies tender and robust, and the salad nicely dressed and very fresh. The portion sizes are great, you won't be left wanting. To top it off, the pricing is fantastic, especially for the area and the quality of the meal. Great dining experience, hope to see one in my area soon!

The meat and tuna were all cold. It tasted okay, but the fact that it was under room temperature really ruined the meal. However, the baby spinach was great, and he tomato soup was not half bad.

Relatively close to the big theater complex @ Spectrum outside mall. Refreshing patio to walk through and maybe use after order. Roughly half the table covers are inside. We noticed pretty peppy music was playing that was kind of nice. Walk inside, order at the first register. There are two ways to order; off a la carte choices for protein, greens and side OR they have entrees, salads, sandwiches, soup to buy as well. All food is cooked perfect to order. Our recent meal experience: We both had the Chicken Chipotle, chicken tender cut spiced just right. We both had the spinach salad, I had the stock vinegrette, my friend subbed some ranch. Last, I was going comfort so mashed buttery potatoes. My friend chose the roasted veg mix. We also opted to solo in a couple split pea soups for starter. Oh, and bottomless iced tea and mint lemonade. There is one no-refill drink that is fairly marked. Everything was tasty and fresh. Now here's the *TIP*, locally roasted Kean coffee (check Newport Beach store) is served via French press! 1/2 full press order gets you 2 big cups for $2.50! Steep it at your table press the knob down, ummm flavorful coffee. They had treats too, we split a PB and chocolate brownie. Was an awesome meal for a reasonable price. Service was friendly, the bus people were assisting with drink refills and were fast to clear plates, kudos guys! All in all a nice casual place, healthy well made food, good service, peppy tunes.
