Being that it is mother's day today, i completely understand things needing to take a tad bit more time than usual due to the restaurant being full. However, my son(4) ,myself ,& my fiancee sat there waiting for our food for almost an hour. 2 other parties that had came in AFTER us had been served. Eventually, we told our waitress "Im sorry but the food is taking too long & we're just going to go ahead & leave." Now i wanna mention, the waitress who helped us was very polite & did everything she could to make us happy. After we alerted her we proceeded to walk out,to which we heard her alert the manager of the situation. His response was 'Oh.Ok." & walked away. So we walk over to Burger King because my fiancee had a hunger headache, when our waitress runs over to us & says "The meal is free,I'll pack it up for you right now". We thank our waitress & take the food home. Then, as we unpacked our food at home,we noticed that: -My meal was missing -Our son's meal was a completely different dish -My fiancees curry had huge chunks of onion in it.(He asked for no onions) So to sum things up, we are not going here again. We liked our server, but the management is obviously bad.

I was excited to see that they have Hainanese Chicken Rice on their menu. Thailand have their own chicken rice with either steamed chicken or fried chicken. The sauce is dark brown with a lot of ginger. Unfortunately, this was different. And it is not exactly the Hainanese version either. The rice doesn't have enough chicken broth flavor. Depending on how much time I have here in Bakersfield, I may try this place again for the standard Thai menu, but for now, it is not authentic Thai flavor.

My delivery arrived promptly and the food was hot. The Panang curry with chicken was very tasty, and the pot stickers were very good as well. The price was also reasonable.. I'll definitely call them again!

Do NOT eat the yellow curry, its not yellow first off that was a red flag, literally because the curry was red. Im not sure if they gave us the red curry by mistake or what. It had no flavor it literally tasted like someone mixed hot sauce with milk. Even the waitress knew that the food was gross and verbally acknowledged it. The only reason i went there was because thai kitchen was closed for the day. If youre looking for a place to have thai food definitley go to thai kitchen, their food and service is great and the restauraunt is really under rated. I've been going there 3 to 4 times every month, their food is so addictive and delicious. Also I'm pretty sure they write fake reviews on here, honestly the reason we came to blue elephant was because of the good reviews but nothing really matched... either that or they're americans that have never tried real thai food before.

Once again I am disappointed with this interpretation of pad kee maw, drunken noodles. There were maybe 5 pieces of pepper as veggies added to this dish. We are nomads and try Thai restaurants everywhere we go. So far nothing comes close to Thai Bounty in Morro Bay CA. The search continues. Also, it's the first Thai restaurant I've ever seen that uses pictures of their food (presumably) as decor. Service was good.
