Be sure to bring a good appetite! Ordered chicken fried steak. Holy hell! It filled the entire plate! Biscuits were super great. Flaky and not heavy. I will for sure being coming back. Just be sure to get there good and early though. Was lucky to get a table at 7am. By 730 it was packed! Worth the wait. 😉

Our waitress was great. We usually order the Chicken Fried Chicken and did so today. Maybe we have been spoiled by the chicken portions almost filling the second plate. However, today's portion was barely over half the usual size. Oh, well. The size did not detract from the fact Knotty Pines food is always tasty and we will continue to return to our favorite place to eat. Thanks to you and your staff for always having a friendly welcoming place where we know we always leave full and satisfied. Thank you for being there.

Moved to Bakersfield 4 months ago and pass this all the time. Came in today because I was feeling a little blue and the hospitality here is awesome! People could not be friendlier and the food is basic and good. I will be coming back.

Loosen that belt folks. These plates are the definition of a southern comfort food. Woah boy! I had the hot links with some eggs over medium, the country potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. Cooked to perfection. If you're going up or down the 99 get your ass off on Noris and head on in here. It's a little hidden gem amongst the farmland not too far from the highway. I definitely recommend this place.
