By far an amazing experience as well as an amazing taste in their food. The steak and chicken were well seasoned and cooked as requested. The portions were just right in order to not over eat nor feel as if you need a wheel barrow to be carried out. I will surely be returning as well as recommending my peers. Thank you staff and chef for a pleasant lunch.

This was a great night. Probably too much wine but what a list. I even found a great Bordeaux on their list as well. Service was top notch and food was delicious. Would definitely recommend and it was easy to get back to my hotel "The Padre" which is across the street. Highly recommended for the wine enthusiast.

I came to Akira like I have been for over 3 year's with my daughter. Never have I been disrespected here before or made feel like I'm less of a customer. But my experience began with the hostess getting upset that we choose to sit in the center section of the tappan table. She rudely said u have to move to the end of table to make room for guest. The table was first of all empty and I kindly said it more ppl arrive we will gladly move over to make room or accommodate them. But she said "u move now" so rudely. So me and my 9 year old did so. We then waited 40 mins to have the table cooking to begin because they didn't want to start a table for just 2 ppl. So we waited 40 mins, 40 mins and then they said ok I guess it will just be u too today. They said go ahead and move to the center of the table. We did as they requested again. The food was good as always, but we received a expedited tappan show cuz it was just me and my kid. So that kinda stunk, I mean even my kid was like why can't we get the same show as other tables? I will never be coming back to this place again. U have lost my business for good. I will be eating at Kan pai now. I've gone to that place and had a table for 2 with no issues.
