Our first time eating Middle Eastern food and we enjoyed it. Especially the juicy chicken and beef kebabs. The salads were amazing, too. We went at a peak time and it was noisy-lots of families with toddlers. But it was a nice experience and introduction to a new cuisine.

We are frequent visitors to this place. All of their food is super tasty and good quality. The flavors are rich and the prices are more than fair. You can get two pita bread sandwiches for $6 which my husband and I have had for dinner on more than a few occasions. Their flat bread pizzas are delicious. Dinner combos are often enough food for dinner and lunch the next day. We love it!!

This is the most best resturant in all over San Diego, I can’t express what a delicious food and appetizers they provide. I’ve been there few days ago with my family we enjoyed eating yummy food. I recommend this resturant for everyone to visit it and taste the real Mediterranean food.

Love, love, love their food. Come here about every 1-2 weeks. I work close by which is a bonus! Today was dolma and flatbread with cheese and zatar..all lip smacking good..the flavors, spices..decent prices, always enough to make 2 meals. Sometimes it is very busy and you'll need to wait, 30 mins. I try and visit off peak times.

It's great to have so many great places nearby and Sahara is one of the best. The location is not the greatest...think stripmall next to busy highway, but you couldn't ask for better Middle Eastern food...in southern California. Lots of families with kids were having dinner on the Thursday night we were there, so it was quite noisy, so we opted to eat outside on the small covered "area" in front. It's actually just a wide part of the sidewalk, but it was fine. Ordering was easy since there are large photos of the main entrees on the wall. I'm always a bit quick to order in a new place so I chose one of the specials thinking "if I like it I'll be coming back often." My partner is a bit slower to order in a new place, but settled on a falafel plate and we shared the chicken shawarma pitas that I ordered. The service was friendly, the price wasn't horrible, and the food came pretty quickly. We really enjoyed both the plate and pitas...exactly what you'd want in a place like this. We'll be going back. Probably often.
