Yummy! I love coming to restaurant where you can customize your meal. There isn't anything better than coming here and trying a different burger with different toppings every time you visit. The outside seating area is nice and it has heaters in the evening so you can eat out there any time of day.

I've finally tried out "The Counter" in Fremont for the very 1st time. I never eaten here during lunch time, since I only get a half-an-hour break, so I came here after work for Happy Hour. Their Happy Hour is Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm. As of February 2018, I posted their Happy Hour menu, which does have a limited selection, but every item is $5. I got their mini burgers which is ultra small! I also got their Parmesan fries, which is a large amount that can easily feed more than two people. They also have a combo deal that is good all day from Monday-Friday for $12, which is for a specific selections on burgers with fries or a side salad. They're famous for their build-your-own burgers for $10.95, but there are side upgrades that will cost extra. If you check-into Yelp, you do get one premium topping upgrade for free. This is a sit down restaurant, so the service will not be fast; hence, why I never came here during my lunch break. The ambiance is really nice if you wish to dine-indoors or outdoors; and they do have TV's inside with a bar, if there's a sporting game that you want to see while you eat. As for the food, it's good, but pricey for the small portions that you get.

I always want to have a good experience here but I rarely do. It's very sad because the food here really is delicious, but the service is almost always bad. It's usually extremely full. It's very slow to get a seat, even if in a party of only 2. The cooks are slow. To even get a drink is very slow. Stay away from the iced teas, they are not good. I suggest a classic flavored shake instead. There is only one good waiter here, not sure if he still works here. He's tall, thin, and Caucasian. He usually wears a baseball cap. He's the best staff member at this location. The others are bad, they give me the wrong cheese on my burger and insist on charging me to get the correct cheese I asked for in the first place?!?!?! Like what is going on here?!?!?!

Went to this place three times. Wings were the best ever. The burger however was overcooked each time. Overall a good experience, just sad about the burgers themselves being over cooked. One thing great about this place however is the menu style. Pick what you want in terms of toppings and get it. The bacon jam is by far one of the best things to get.

Normally my food here is very good. This time the food was dry, not very tasty. The price is relatively high and for that price I expected a burger that was a cut above a fast food restaurant. The milk sake was very good, but it took them a long time to get it to the table. While the service was adequate, it was not anything special.
