This place never disappoints me. Other than awesome food, Westwood's has a great atmosphere. In my opinion, the bar is bigger than most. The service is good as well. Some of their best dishes I have had are their burnt ends and honey q fried chicken. That honey q sauce is amazing!

Ordered turkey melt and chicken chili. I couldn't finish; food was too salty. I experienced the excess salt twice before with the beans that come with the barbecue. I was hoping the salt problem was not an everyday occurrence. Boy, was I wrong! The only reason for the 2 stars is that the server was compassionate and gracious.

We arrived about 5pm and were seated right away however it was at least five minutes or longer before our server arrived to greet us and bring us menus The jalapeno cornbread appetizer is delicious and the small is perfect for 4 persons to share. We also ordered the house margarita with salt on the rocks and it was all ice and about 3 sips of actual margarita... not worth it in my opinion. Pulled pork, braised cabbage and sweet potato mash was excellent, spare ribs, salmon flat bread, were good but the fries were way too salty, and the apple celery slaw was pretty tasteless. Meal for 4 with one drink and one appetizer was $65 before tip.

I pride myself as a rib master at home. I have never found any restaurant that can compare to my home cooked ribs until my wife and I discovered WestWood. Way to go guys, killer beef and pork ribs! And my wife’s favorite strawberry pizza. When I’m not cooking at home, you’ll be my first choice.

My wife and I are not fans of pork, but we love ribs. Westwoods is the only place that I know of in town that has some huge BEEF ribs. All 4 of us got the beef rib plates. They offer them in 2, 3 and 4 rib combos with 2 sides. Make sure you ask for the warm wet towels as big ribs can get a little messy. They'll bring you a small plate with 2 damp, steaming towels to keep your hands and face clean.
