Service was quick and the food came out fast. I know they get busy at lunch so I arrived at 1:30 pm with no wait. I always order the spicy beef and tendon with the fat noodles. The broth always has a rich beefy flavor, not bland at all. I also love the pan fried pork dumplings. They always taste fresh but the freshness was confirmed since I saw the servers taking advantage of the lull to hand wrap dumplings for the dinner rush. Their spicy chili sauce is always the best and never tastes burnt. Although not in my photo I usually order a side of pig ears. They are cut up into very small slices and the pickling marinade is delicous. I like throwing the ears into my soup to add flavor and texture (you should try it). Truthfully you would not know they are ears from the look and taste.

Delicious real Chinese comfort food. Their Chinese fried chicken or fried pork chop rice with pickled mustard greens is a popular choice with the crowds. The Sichaun spicy beef noodle soup is also a great dish! All their noodles are made fresh in house. Lots of options and good value! Fast and friendly service.

Great Taiwanese food place. Has some unique dishes like the corn porridge. Friendly service but be prepared for long wait unless you come during off peak. Also can buy take out frozen dumplings

My favorite Taiwanese restaurant! One of the best in Irvine for sure. Cost-wise, it's also very reasonable. We ended up getting the pig ears, cucumbers, scallion pancakes (avoid - so doughey), pot stickers (a must), and various rice/noodle dishes. They have some of the best appetizers ever - they could just be a dinner in itself! The potstickers comes with about 8, so that's extremely filling. I'd avoid some of the noodle soups. The noodles are a bit thicker and wider and not as delicious. The pork rice is top notch though - especially with that pickle they give you. Will visit again. This used to be my spot!

Busy Friday evening, which is usual especially for good eateries. I was by myself and was told the wait for a table would be 15 minutes, but was seated at a bigger table within 10 minutes. I ordered the beef & tendon on dried noodles, but it was served to me in soup instead. Waitress claimed they do not served it dry when it includes tendon. The soup style was good, but I took one star off for failing to prepare to order.
