Open since December 2016, this new Italian restaurant across from UCI incorporates the fast casual, build your own pasta or choose from their menu. The food is overall delicious, however, the chicken could be better moist. The service was good. This place is relatively new so its expected that they will work out some kinks. updated visit 3/2018: The service and food has improved!

It seems as though more food concepts are taking the subway process of " building your own". It's great. Build your own pasta dish, salad, or flatbread. Add what you like, leave out what you don't like. It's fast, it tastes good, it's reasonably priced, it works! It's fast casual food that tastes good and is priced right. I will definitely go back.

Grade A customer service from Chef Ray!!!! We love that guy. He always remembers our orders. The food is great and the restaurant is always so clean when he is there. No trash piled up or food on the windows.

I walked in here blindly - didn't look at any reviews at all, and I was pleasantly surprised. Just like many restaurants around these days, it is a place where you choose your base and toppings and create your own custom Italian dish, with pasta, sandwiches and salads as the primary bases, and they cook it in front of you as you wait in a line. I like the concept and enjoyed the gigantic salad ... and the kids liked the pastas they made and enjoyed watching the chef cook it in front of them ... I think I'm just being picky and have to get used to it. I lean more towards traditional mom & pop shops that serve traditional and hearty Italian food, and also prefer table service versus doing everything ourselves for that kind of money. Maybe I will give it another chance someday.

It's kinda pricey for mediocre pasta. I get that it's Irvine and prices tend to be a little higher here, but for a place across the street from a college campus, their food is just not worth how much they charge. It's pretty bland and their portions aren't that big. Their workers were super nice though!
