Amazing place! Definitely worthy of 5 stars. Our food was amazing (and honestly, we tend to be quite 'snobby' about quality and flavors), nice portions for the price, staff was friendly, environment was perfect. And it was even rainy to complicate the experience! This has been the best food experience we've had while visiting CA, hands down! Kudos to the Farmhouse Team!

When the vegetables, small plates and plates to share are so delicious and satisfying that you have to skip the entrees to get to dessert because you know you're going to make it back again! Enjoy the fresh dishes while sitting outside in a lovely garden setting. Wonderful!

The food was delicious when my friends and I enjoyed lunch BUT when I got home with my leftover pizza, I discovered an unappetizing HAIR buried under the cheese. I wrote to the manager (and enclosed the hair) but it has been three weeks and he hasn't had the courtesy to respond. Eat there if you like but don't examine your food too closely or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise.

This review is for the bar only and their "Midday Menu". My fiance and I stopped in here on a whim after perusing the gardens. We initially wanted a glass of wine and something to nibble on. After sipping on our pinots we watched as the bartender (I forgot to get his name, but he was wonderful), mixed one of his specialty drinks for another patron. I'm not sure what exactly it was, but it had gin, some sort of passion fruit concoction, simple syrups, and a "blood orange chip" that he personally dehydrated. We were so intrigued we asked him to make one for us too. YEP. That guy knows what he's doing. I don't typically take a liking to gin, but that drink was phenomenal. So smooth, so tasty, and the blood orange chip was a lovely touch. Not only is he a great mixologist, he was fun to chat with. Off of the midday menu we ordered the hummus plate to nibble on. This turned out to be so very tasty. It had plenty of hummus, fresh tomato slices, pickled onions, radishes, and cucumbers. Place all these on top of the pita bread slices and top with sprinkle of salt.....BOMB!! You're welcome.
