This place is in the heart of Phelan. I tried their chicken fried steak and it came with hash browns, 2 eggs, and your choice of toast, pancakes or homemade biscuits and gravy. Their biscuits were pillowy soft and flaky, and tasted like someone's Grandma poured love into them. The chicken fried steak had crispy breading and tender steak inside. Everything was delicious and the portions were large enough to easily feed two adults. I look forward to returning to try more items and visit with their friendly and attentive staff.

Amazing experience, food made to order and when I made the mistake of forgetting to ask for CRISPY Bacon, they took it back and made it so without any fuss. Quality service and delicious food with smiles everywhere. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good breakfast!

We love the Skillet Cafe. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service can't be beat. If you haven't tried this place you really should. The portions are huge and their Chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy is the best I've ever had. You won't be disappointed.
