This is a great affordable sushi place. They charge a sitting fee per person ( I believe it's $8 or $10, don't remember exactly) and then everything on the menu is $3 to $5 depending on what you order. I love the sunshine roll. It's a casual place and not very big so it can be a little wait on weekends. I think the way the price structure works keeps it cheaper than most other sushi places which is also a big draw. They also recently added some outside seating that's dog friendly so another plus.

Pay $5 per person to order $3 FULL sushi rolls. Delicious. The bento boxes are included. Paid a total of $8 for my bento and it was tasty!

Over all I was disappointed. When I walked into the door a server rushed me to the sushi bar and gave me a menu, order from and asked me what do I want to drink. I ordered a beer that was luke warm and the order form was copied over so many times it was almost unreadable. I order yellow tail and a roll. The roll was one of the smallest rolls I ever had and you can see it was put together in a hurry. The yellow tail was a good piece with good freshness. There was two guts who sat beside me as I was finishing up my meal and a different server explained the specials, drink specials and recommend rolls. This service I did not receive and was wondering if it was the me or my server. When I got the bill I felt it was much more than the quality of food and services I received. No plans to return. I reather go to Vons a few blocks down and get my sushi.

Could use improvement on seating guests and taking an initial order in a timely manner.

It's so quaint and quiet. I really like that this place has Sapporo on DRAFT!. The rolls came out promptly and deliciousness filled my mouth! Really satisfied and full. We orderd 4 rolls and 3 appetizers and salad. Over all it was really good.
