This it's my first time there. The food was great. We got there right when they were closing after the lunch rush, so we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked. Will definitely return. We didn't have the teppanyaki, but most definitely will do that next time. Even food for vegans to eat.

Great lunch combos. Very reasonable prices. Great service. Sashimi tastes fresher than other places. Plus they sing am interesting birthday song if the occasion is right. A Huntington Beach gem.

My boyfriend & I absolutely love the Baked Halibut Roll, sashimi platter & beef kushiyaki. We equally love Amy in the bar. She is very special and loves all her customers so much. She represents everything great about Matsu.

I can't say enough about this place. I was going here as a kid and then as an adult. When my husband and I were dating we would come in here and sit at the bar. That's where we met Amy. She is the best! 12 years of marriage and two kids later, we are still trying to get to Matsu as much as we can. We love that we can pass this tradition on to our children. The sushi is so so good! We always go here for all of our birthdays. Even the kids pick this place for their birthday. They love getting the free ice cream and picture. You gotta go.
