WOW. The food was off the charts incredible! I got the avocado taco and it was possibly the best thing I have ever eaten. Perfect texture, perfect flavor. Fish tacos would retreat in fear when compared to the avocado taco. I also split the grilled cheese and some fries. The grilled cheese had pesto on it (GENIUS! PURE GENIUS!) and was fffaaarrrrrrr better than any dairy grilled cheese. I'm serious this was incredible. The fries were classic and perfectly seasoned. The heat lamps were broken outside so our awesome waitress brought us some blankets. The place was sweet and beautiful with food that I won't stop thinking about.

Seabirds is a nice restaurant in the LAB Anti-mall space in Costa Mesa. They offer great vegan options with very tasty sauces and cream. Be prepared to wait but there things to do in the area while you’re waiting. The service people are very friendly and explain the ingredients that make each sauce or meal. I enjoyed their starter place of the taquitos along with the entree of enchiladas. They have a small bar for you to order mixed drinks if desired. Excellent place to grab a bite with friends or family. There’s a nice outside area for larger groups.

Purple taquitos were great. Crispy and crunchy on the outside and warm and flavorful inside. Definitely recommend. Remember parking at the Lab is tough so be prepared!

Seabirds is always a good call. I have been coming here when they first started here and I would follow the food truck throughout Orange County. As I have been eating vegan I always get inspiration for the flavors that Seabirds has developed. Take you carnivore friends here they will be impressed and have a new experience with a plant based menu.

The food is worth the crazy wait time this place posts at peak hours. None of their food items disappoint, and I recommend the jackfruit BBQ sliders as the go-to appetizer. Parking at the anti-mall is never a sure thing, so get there early.
