Charming Italian place w a nice selection of wines and a dozen or so dishes. We like this place as close in dining before shows at Segerstrom. Reservations are necessary and tell you waiter when you want to go to the theater (plan on at least 75 minutes for a meal). Pizzas will feed a hungry person but the other entrees are small enough to leave room for sharing a salad or dessert. Menu seems to change seasonally but we are on a streak to get the giant meatballs the last few times.

The pizza had very little toppings on it. The crust had lots of burned spots on it. I returned it and asked to have it taken off of the bill. My friend's pasta with carbonara sauce was flavorless. The pasta was oily. It left a funny taste and greasy feel in our mouths. My friend became nauseated shortly after we left. Very poor value for the prices they charge.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! HORRIBLE FOOD! OVERPRICED. Will never go there again. We waited more than an hour before waiter told us they were out of the items we ordered, so made another selection. And waited another hour. Just for pizza. Staff was indifferent. Never apologized.

This used to be our go to place. Great food and good service. We’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years regularly. Im so sadly writing this review. But i hope people in charge see it and take action. Lately it sucks! The service is a flat F. They treat you like its your privilege to eat here. The people at the door flat out rude. The servers just could care less. The food, still good!! So sad that its slipping... i would give it a one star but i don’t have the heart to do it purely on service.
