Good food and good service at this authentic Japanese spot in the OC. Good selection of Japanese sake and beer. We ordered one of the set dinners for four and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food overall. Definitely worth a look.

The food was good. The wait was terrible. We started dinner at 7p. It didn't finish until 945p. Almost 3 hours. Not acceptable. I'm giving a grace star because the food really is that good. Otherwise, I would have given only one star.

This is one of my favorite Japanese places in OC. The food is inventive and quite good. The wait staff is also good even though they may be very busy sometimes. I think they have a sister restaurant in Torrance by the same name and my friends told me that it is also very good. You should try to call in for reservation, especially on weekends, because the place is small and can get really busy. Parking is difficult on Friday nights and weekends.
