I don't go here again. The food taste is like all chinese buffet, nothing can make me come back. I went to Kobe Buffet last Friday and I was very disappointed. Every time I checked out the lobster, the tray was empty, I waited for almost 20 minutes for a new tray but I was too late to get in line and the tray was empty again. I never got a chance to try the lobster but I had to pay for it. I notify the service woman and later to the girl at the reception booth. They both say "just a minute " and ignore me. They don't even go into the kitchen to check. I believe that they intentionally make little at a time and take a long time to bring the lobster out.

This is a good buffet if you know what to get and what you like. If you go on Friday dinner or weekends (which this review is only for dinner) for the lobster, it is not what you expect even though it goes in a hurry. They are slipper lobster tails (small) baked in a cream sauce with ginger and can be mushy sometimes (lobster is only on Friday and the weekend). We go for the very good fresh sushi, the very good snow crab legs and the Mongolian grill. They also have soups, salad bar and a small dessert area that is less than impressive. The grill has steak, teriyaki beef ribs, shrimp, chicken, noodles and vegetables that you put on your plate as you choose and watch it cooked in front of you (Hint....stay and tell them how done you want your meat or they will over cook it. Just ask them to take it off when you are happy with it. The grill is freaking hot! Some people walk away and come back to over cooked food) The hot food in the precooked area can be good and some not so much. I like the duck, the green beans, shrimp and a few others, but if they only had those things and no crab, sushi or grill we would not go there. They do have beer, wine, sake and cocktails. Price is good at dinner for about $17.99 if you bring the website coupon that you can print out online for $2 off per person. Otherwise $19.99 for dinner on Friday and all day on weekends. Remember...crab, sushi and Mongolian grill are very good. The others are good to OK, but the lobster...not so much but maybe you will love it? Try it, why not? And the confusion about price that some have mentioned is strange. The price is listed when you walk in on a board and not confusing at all. It is a buffet and you pay one price and drinks are not included. Service is fine for a buffet, don't get freaked if they are not friendly as some say...its' a buffet!

Impulse visit trying to check out a new sushi spot in town. We were rushed to our table before we could look at the menu by the door. Once seated, we ordered a quick water and we're given an annoyed look by the waiter. We had never been here before so we tried asking him if we pay for our buffet first or after our meal and how much it was per person, he kept cutting me off before I could finish my first question making me repeat myself 3 times. His interruptions we're only to tell us to grab a plate and go get food. We decided to go up the front again and ask another worker or try to understand the weird menu divided by meal, and age per plate. Had to speak to 2 other workers to get our answers and then realized we we're going to pay $50 with tax for 2 people when all we wanted was some simple sushi. Language barrier was a big problem, the service was not enjoyable, we always said thank you when they cleared our plates (because we made sure we were going to get $50 worth of food if that's how much we had to pay for it!) but the waiters and waitresses all had annoyed looks on their faces, the food was good but not something I'd rave about. Not coming back and don't recommend it.

Foothill Ranch treasure. Quality of food is excellent for very reasonably priced dinner buffet (around $22). King crab legs, sashimi, beef tenderloin. Ambiance is a bit drab, but food more than makes up for it.

The waiter there was kinda over it and wasn't really giving us a good customer service. I'm not looking for an exceptionally good service but at least be courteous to patrons. The food was too dry and cold.
