If I was just rating the service I would give them 5 stars. Even though they were extremely busy all of the staff were amazing and continuously asking if we needed anything. The pancake were great. Top tier in my opinion. Rest of the food was good but nothing special. Food wasn't worth the wait but if the wait was shorter I would give them a higher rating.

The food was really good, the service was excellent and the general store type feel in front was cute. But I'm knocking off a star because this is not a quiet place for a meal by any means. I went for breakfast at 7:45am on a Sunday and there was as much noise as if I was at a bar for Monday night football. The next time I'm looking for a rowdy get together I'll keep this place in mind, otherwise I'll stick to a place that offers a more quiet, relaxing Sunday morning atmosphere and not somewhere with hooting and hollering. Another reason I knocked off a star is I ordered hot tea with my breakfast and the water provided was lukewarm at best. I notified my server and he promptly brought another teapot that was of an equal temperature. I didn't mention it again and just drank mildly warm tea with my breakfast.

So grateful to have have been able to experience the very first Californian Cracker Barrel! It’s part restaurant part store. Every worker we encountered, from the hostess, to the waitress, to the food runner, to the cashier all were extremely friendly. The food was alright. I didn’t really like the layout of the restaurant area- it’s too wide open of a space so it was very loud and difficult to hear my companion sitting across from me. I also felt that i was sat so close to other guests it was a bit tight. I wish it were cozier inside- perhaps some dividers between tables would improve it.

They're breakfast pancake combo was really tasty, I got two generous strips of bacon when I was given the choice of bacon and sausage. Plus!, Many restaurants in the high desert don't serve grits! I love grits! A touch of southern style meals and a cozy dine in experience... When it's not too crowded.

The first Cracker Barrel in California! I don't have to drive 3+ hours to get to one anymore! Before you leave, go online and check-in with the online wait-list option they offer though the Cracker Barrel website. It will save you tons of time and headaches. It's still pretty busy, but not as bad as opening month. Expect the classics you love at Cracker Barrel. Comfort food all the way. Biscuits, country fried steak, green beans, and did I mention HASH BROWN CASSEROLE? The staff here is very friendly and willing to help you if you have an issue.
