Visiting from Florida. Had a BLT with Avacado & potato salad. The potato salad was delicious. The BLT was good too but needed a more special bread to make it great. Enjoyed the free dill pickles they serve as a little appetizer. Fun bowling attached to this place.

Cool environment and good service. French toast was "eh", but pancakes were no bueno. The fruit that came with the french toast reminded me of the fruit they served in (public) high school. Motivated me to cook at home more. Dessert selection looked really, really good, but I didn't get any cause it's almost summer time and I had just ate french toast.

Breakfast can be a little pricey here, but the portions and the service are very good. The coffee is good and the t is superior. If you're ever hungry for something sweet, this is the place to have that craving satisfied. I would say there are better values for breakfast, but this place is a welcomed watering hole because of its convenience and location.

It is like entering a Time Machine 2 times when you go into this place. It's like going back to 1960s New York Jewish delis and then when the very efficient young lady brings you the bill it's like entering a time machine and going into 2030 prices. I've been going there for 40 years and my favorite has always been the half sandwich and soup very fulfilling.

This is the best, most authentic Jewish delicatessen anywhere! And I've tried them all, from Carnegie Deli in New York and Vegas to all of the delis in San Diego and most of the delis in Los Angeles. Nobody does matzo ball soup like Jerry's Famous Deli! Everytime I come here I get the half sandwich and soup combo and upgrade to the matzo ball soup and have never been disappointed. Service is a little on the slow side but if you are patient enough the food is definitely worth the wait! I make special trips up to the LA from San Diego just to eat at Jerry's, it's that good! Sadly some of their closer locations like Costa Mesa and Marina Del Rey have closed, probably due to the poor service from the employees there. Sure hope the last two remaining Jerry's on Ventura Boulevard stick around for many more years to come!
