I don't care what anyone says, this place is not overrated. The food is delicious and the ambiance is fantastic! We came here with some friends for dinner and we ordered enough to share everything. Cocktails and wine selections are great. And the entrance is so beautiful at night...it feels very romantic. I know it's hard to get a reservation here, but if you can get one, do it! We actually came for an early dinner so we missed the late night atmosphere...which I'm sure is very different from our experience.

I usually only write positive reviews but yesterday's dinner at Catch LA was a bad experience. The ambience and the location are very attractive, but you sit on the outdoor terrace very close and understand every word from the neighboring tables. For a first date unsuitable! We arrived at about 10:15 pm because we thought due to the published opening hours (until about 03:00 am) to enjoy a pleasant dinner. Appetizer and main course came in such a rapid succession that we could barely chew and swallow. During the main course, the waitress asked 5 times if we would like to order anything (distribution pressure). At about 11:10 pm a last order was requested. We were still eating the main course. From then on permanently something was removed from the table (napkins, half-empty glasses, decoration). A clear sign that they wanted to close the terrace. At the time there were still several tables occupied. When it comes to having to close the terrace at 11:30 pm for whatever reason, you can either announce that at guest's arrival, or assign a table in the inner restaurant. The wines were good. We ordered for $ 84.00 the 'Crispy Whole Snapper', this was clearly too crispy and barely had meat, the side dishes were overcooked to a pulp. The starter salmon sashimi was also clearly overgrown. We were two. For 2 starters, the snapper and 3 glasses of white wine, we spent $ 300 incl. tip. It was definitely not worth it.

Only been there for drinks a couple of times but it's been great every time. Beautiful decor and a fantastic view! My girlfriend spilled her drink by mistake and the bartender automatically made her a new one, without us asking for one. A great place to take people who are visiting LA.

Great service, great vibes, very nice looking place. Had a rib-eye, wasnt too impressed considering it cost $100. Besides that, the rest of the food and dessert was really good.

Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. Lots of people and few celebrities here and there. Food is great and service is great as well. It's a great spot to chill and enjoy a tasty dinner.
