Love the food, love the atmosphere but not please with the service. Also, there were no singing waiters or a piano player, as we had heard. We went here for an early dinner on Valentine's Day & we seated right away with our reservation for 9 people. It was not crowded when we arrived so we ordered & got our appetizer right away. We were told that since it was a Holiday, they did not provide a kids' menu or kids entrees, so we ordered our kids adult entrees. They served our kids' drinks in adult drinking glasses, which ended up in a spilled soda fairly quickly. After we got our food, we noticed the table next to us, which had kids as well, had kids' entrees & also had plastic kids' drinking cups with lids on them. I am not sure why we were told our little kids couldn't have kids entrees (due to the holiday) & also weren't given kids cups with lids, but the table next to us received both. The food was delicious, best cheesy garlic bread & chicken alfredo I've ever had. I didn't care for the Chicken Marsala, the sauce was very sweet & it didn't come with any type of pasta on the side, just 2 small chicken cutlets. It just didn't taste like Marsala, which is one of my favorite Italian dishes. The service was not up to par. Our "waiter" was also the bartender and he seemed preoccupied with chatting to the other servers at the bar & making drinks. We had to wait a little too long for refills more than once, we didn't get checked on often & I ordered my cocktail twice before I finally received it. That's kind of ironic since my waiter was the bartender. Overall, I would return but I hope that when I do, I can have an actual waiter to serve us and not the bartender, who was too busy for a large group.

A hidden gem. Just a block off of Hollywood boulvard this restaurant was a delight. At the time of our visit, we experienced live piano music, vocal performances by multi-talented employees, and fantastic food. Many of our party considered the dishes they ordered to be among the best, if not the best, that they have ever had of their respective types. We had a great 10-15 minutes conversation with one of the employees/owners when he came over to speak with us. All in all a great experience with great food!

I loved Miceli’s!! We ate there yesterday and the food was delicious! The only thing was that it was super slow. We got at the restaurant at about 7:40 and left at about 8:50! The bread (which is free) took about 20 minutes, and even our drinks took a while. Our mean meals also took a while, about 30 minutes or more. Although, the food, as I said before, was amazing! I recommend you going, but leaving early.

This was a great spot. Live pianist playing the whole time and servers would take turns singing to everyone. Super cool restaurant. Service was slow, but we didn't go for a quick bite, so that was no problem. Food was very good and portions was large. I highly recommend if you have the time. We went with kids and they loved it too.

The food was great, the bread rolls we're great, the atmosphere was amazing. It was almost like stepping back through time. The place had a lot of character, from its decor to the pianist playing jazz and show tunes from the early 1900s to the opera singer of a waiter who performed songs between waiting tables. It was a very cool experience and I would go again.
