I super love sugarfish. The rice is the best here, and the fish is always super fresh and wonderful. It's a fun experience, especially if you choose one of the trust me options. It's also pretty affordable for good sushi. Definitely worth checking out if you like sushi!

I don't love sushi. I loved this place. Items from the tasting menu are served in an order that accentuates each piece. I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality and care taken with each piece of sushi served. Outstanding food. My only concern is that the staff is overwhelmed. The restaurant was full, and we had to ask several times to several different servers to get water, lemon, ginger, etc. Not a major problem, but still. Otherwise, outstanding.

Great sushi, attentive staff, and I loved getting one thing at a time. I feel taking your time to experience each piece is how it's supposed to be done so this was fantastic!

Sugar fish is a great spot. Everything we had was delicious. Sushi here are high quality. Its not authentic place but a good chain of sushi restaurants. I ve been in downtown location too but sunset I prefer better. Would recommend to come here for lunch.

Sushi doesn't have much of a taste difference between fish. My yellow tail had nearly the same taste as the salmon. The flavor of the rice isn't overpowering but is the majority of the flavor. If this is a highly rated Zagat reviewed place ownership must have changed. The only reason I didn't rate it lower was because it didn't taste bad..... It just didn't taste like anything.
