I love the shrimp house. My dad would always my family since back when I was 4yrs old and the shrimp house was in El Monte. My last experience was good. The service was great. The only thing was the fish fileta that day were not the usual size...they were thin and not meaty. They're usually a good size. But other then that everything was good.

The food is great!! The service is top notch. The giant shrimp are amazing. The prices are reasonable. A must try! You'll continue to come back. Best sea food around!!

Wow. Here is a place that has been under the same ownership as when I worked at the snack bar at the Edwards Drive In across the street. That was the 60's and it was already an institution. Never went in till I returned to El Monte recently. I moved from Ventura, but this is actually better than any of the seafood restaurants at the beach. Just amazingly fresh, and all wild caught, I understand. Uniquely delicious and crunchy batter. So inexpensive! Do yourself a favor and check this place out, and be sure to try the shrimp, breaded fish fillet and scallops. Definitely the best scallops I ever tasted.

Excellent, melt-in-your- mouth-delicious Main lobster! I ordered the trio and couldn't eat it all.The servers are friendly and amazing.. Not your fancy 5 star spot, but a neighborhood friendly diner. The waitresses go out of their way to please. My husband ordered Cod. It was Fresh and seasoned well.
