Traditional, flavorful Indonesian dishes for reasonable prices. Informal atmosphere.

First time I’ve been to this place and I gotta say, it is one of the best Indonesian restaurant in the LA county area. Located in a busy plaza along Colima Rd. You might miss it since it’s a very small joint. Family owned and run. Very nice friendly atmosphere. The food taste like it was made by your mom or grandmother. We ordered three items; ayam kalasan (marinated chicken), nasi goreng ikan asin, pete (fried rice with salted fish and stinky bean), and mie ayam with bakso (chicken noodle with side of meatball soup). You have to try the marinated chicken. It is a must. They marinate the chicken really well then it gets fried. It also come with a secret sauce. If you’ve never had Indonesian food ever I completely recommend trying this place out.

Our Indonesian friends took us here so we could try the cuisine for the first time. Oh so yummy! Nice heat on a few of the dishes added superb flavor, but even without the spice, enjoyed chicken, beef, rice. Wish I knew the names of all, but our gracious hosts ordered for all of us "family style". We gladly took home leftovers offered to enjoy the next day after the dishes steeped in their sauces.

Their food alone is freakin delicious and as for their authenticity... I have family that are from Indonesia saying how much these people’s food reminds them of their hometown

Pretty good Sunday special, and the chicken soup. Love it.
