Say what u will about Benihana, when they get it right they get it right. Garlic butter is always a good thing. This most recent trip was good but not as top tier as visits to other locations. The inside seemed small and older. The cook was very fun and welcoming. He had great jokes and included everyone in the show. I will admit some of the meat needed a bit more spices. Overall though it was a fun time.

Expect a long wait if you don't have a reservation. But it's well worth it. The food is amazing. The service impeccable. They give you a $30 coupon for your birthday if you sign up for their chef program.

The chef was great! BUTTTT!!! The wait was horrible. We had a reservation at 11:45am, we were seated at like 11:50, but they didn't start cooking till an hour later.... that's pretty ridiculous. And on top of this we were the only customers when we arrived.

We arrived at the podium before another couple & the hostess took the other couple information before ours. We and other party both had 2 and both walk ins. Other party was seated 30 min before us. We waited in sushi area & service was good. Our Chef Diego cooked all the chicken first, then shrimp appetizers, then steak and waiting for next entree others got cold. Onions were done after entrees finished. Diego lacked entertainment. Diego & Chef at table next door came out at same time and other Chef was done considerably sooner than Diego. Diego had to ask another employee for more items while preparing meals. Diego used knife to cut raw chicken and continued using same knife to cut other items already cooked without cleaning the knife in between.
