There are three prongs to having a great restaurant: venue, food, and service. Without one of these things, the entire experience is brought down. I must say that the venue is beautiful, and my food was good (hazelnut granola and yogurt), but the service was really lacking. I stood around at the hostess table for around 5 minutes without seeing any staff. I was seated outside, and then waited another 20 minutes for someone to take my order. By this point, it had gotten pretty windy outside, so I asked my waiter if I could move inside. He obliged, and sat me down at a table inside...which the hostess proceeded to make me move from (because it was a window seat, and apparently they like to keep those reserved). My waiter asked if he could get anything for me, so I asked for tea, expecting him to comp it (since I'd literally been forced out of my seat). But nope! Just got the check and they charged me $6 for it.

Thoughtfully prepared food and attentive service depending on the staff. Not sure why, but during the 2 days and 4 meals, trays and glasses were dropped all the time giving everyone a little scare every once in a while. Maybe ghosts or just clumsy, rushed servers.

Lovely food and wine selection. Service was good but a bit slow. Fantastic views from patio

Terrible service, edicate, and decorum for a property of this caliber. Having served in hospitality for many years, I am shocked at the lack of quality. If you are bringing guests in an attempt to impress seek life elsewhere.

A nice change from the quick dining options in Berkeley. The service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. We'll be back soon to try the happy hour yummies!
