This is a great breakfast and lunch place. They are fast and friendly. The place is always quite busy, but that's what you get when everyone knows they can't go wrong here. It can get quite busy, but they move people through and there are a lot of tables. I have been going here for 20 years and have never had bad food. I expect some people have managed to find something to complain about, but, unless you are looking for a place that spends more on the service than the food, you really can't go wrong. I have no idea if the cater to difficult people, and I am sorry but if that's you we will never meet and I don't need to worry about insulting you, but if you can eat normal food it's great. My favorite? Chicken fried steak, eggs over easy, country potatoes with the onions, sour dough toast.

Been going there for many moons. Always good food! Never disappointed! Friendly staff too! That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it! Price? Depends on what you get for your buck? My experience in most places compared to them? I get my money's worth!

Food was tasty, portions were large, atmosphere was old Hollywood Western. Staff was very friendly and flexible, although took a while to come take our order. Also prices were about 20-30% higher than I would like. $14 for an enormous omelette (comes with generous hashed browns and 2 slices of toast). Also, we wish the table were cleaner. Bathrooms seemed cleanish, but like you would see in a garage. Overall pretty good and hearty, but a little expensive given the offering.

I love Doug's. The portions are huge, very reasonable and delicious. The service is fantastic. The wait time may be a bit long, but it's to be expected as it can get quite busy. All in all, a great place, with great atmosphere and great food.
