We haven't been to this charming venue since it was a quaint little coffee shop. Wow! What a change. This is a charming Mexican restaurant in a beautiful old train station walking distance from downtown Riverside. We shared the newest item in the menu. Molcajete. Incredible. This is going to be a new favorite.

Great food! Great Service! Taco Tuesday was very yummy! And the old Union Pacific Station has been updated beautifully! I highly recommend.

Another hit or miss type of place. I've been here and service has been great and then other times not so much. The wait for a table can get ridiculous, but if you sit in the bar you can usually get a seat right away and they serve a full menu. Parking is stupid, best bet is to park down by the Spaghetti Factory or Applebee's and walk over. Food is good and drinks are decent.

The first time I went to this place was about six months ago, it was an awesome experience and the 10 of us had a great time. We returned for a friends birthday with about 20 people. It was very apparent that there was new management in charge. Not only was the service absolutely terrible, it took over an hour to get our food, and yes we did call in early. the manager was extremely rude and did not come up to our table to greet us. He preferred to stare from a distance like a creep with no manners. He was dressed in old clothes and a hat like he was going to cut the grass. The staff was litteraly kicking it at the bar like they were on break. Many unfortunate changes have come due to new management. They even get rid of the little boot shot glass that you take home after your party celebration. Everyone was absolutely horrified at the service, and we will never ever return. Very unprofessional! Save your money and go somewhere else.

The food was good (though my girlfriend, who's Mexican, was not impressed). The tortilla chips are light and crisp (not hard) and the salsa was runny, but tasty! A friendly, warm and inviting environment: The staff was very pleasant and everybody made us feel at home. The prices seemed to lean toward the high side (but everything seems expensive to me), but the proportions are plentiful enough to satisfy most appetites.
