Maybe it's just me, but this place is terrible. The food, not only overpriced, is bland and tasteless. I mean, seriously, it's super bland. The salsas are gritty and have a cloyingly sweet taste to them. The tables are sticky, and the floor is sticky. I was just there today. Took the server nearly 10 minutes to take my order. System issues, I get it, but did she have to be short with me, and swear under her breath? Save your money and time, go to On The Border or even Del Taco. You're sure to have a much better experience.

I stopped by on my way to Sacramento to grab a couple of the original fish tacos, which I always enjoyed. I was waiting for a while and inquired about my order. The manager was back in the kitchen and told me that they were waiting on the fish and my order was coming up soon. In total it was close to 15 minutes but as they brought my food the manager came out and apologized personally and handed me a coupon for a free meal the next time I am at Rubio‘s. I understand it was busy and that sometimes kitchens can get backed up but when they acknowledge your wait and make amends the way they did today that adds tremendous value in my book. The food was great, as usual. The extra level of service really sealed the deal. Highly recommended. I wish I’d gotten the name of the manager but I didn’t. Either way, It turned out to be a great experience.

I just love this place. The food is fresh and good along with the excellent customer service.

Rubios is always great. Grilled options, quality ingredients and great flavors. Despite all that the price is good too. They also have a good selection of drinks besides sodas. There is also nice outdoor seating. Their salsa bar is the best and includes some good spicy and mild options as well as limes and peppers. You can also get beer here.

Love the chopped salad with mahi. Also enjoy the outside dining area where my dog gets to sit with me.
