Not bad, but kind of gimmicky. Take the Sacramento King, for example: it’s a pretty good smoked salmon sandwich. I’d prefer cold smoked salmon, but whatever. It’s just that there’s no particular reason for it to be served between two waffles, other than that being their gimmick. The waffles themselves are savory and peppery, which is nice, but as waffles, they’re not the best. A perfect waffle is crisp on the outside, light and soft on the inside. The waffles on my sandwich were dense and cakey. It was a decent sandwich, but given the choice, I’d rather have it on a couple slices of good bread. My daughter had the mango tango special, but asked them to leave a couple things off—quite reasonably, since it comes with like ten different toppings. It still came with a ridiculous mountain of whipped cream, most of which she ended up scraping off because it was just too much. She’s a nine-year-old kid; she likes whipped cream. She just wanted to be able to taste the other ingredients. Service was OK, but a little slow. The coffee was very good. All in all, it’s fine and all, but not worth the hype, the wait, or the price.

The food was good and their homemade ketchup was amazing. Waffles were different... in good way. Praise the Lard was good and filling. My friend loved the Greek one. It was all pretty good. I may come back for the food. Dropped one star due to the wait and the waitress. We waited over an hour for our table when they originally said 30 to 40 minutes. Then we waited about another 30 minutes for the food. They were nice enough to apologize for our wait but the waitress was hard to flag down and took for ever to get anything. She asked us if we wanted hot sauce, we said yes but she didnt come back with hot sauce until we were down to our last bites. Same goes for waiting to get water for the whole table. She seemed rushed to get us out.

We arrived close to closing but they welcomed us in. The staff was super friendly and helpful and never felt rushed. thanks to them we were able to eat delicious food. The flavor combinations were amazing. It's a definite must go if your around.

First time trying this place and I have to say the service is terrible. The wait is crazy long. They will actually give you a ring when your table is ready. The thing was, they called saying our table was ready but that was a lie. We had to wait about 30 more minutes inside by the restrooms while they waited for another group of customers to finish eating and leave before they could combine two tables together to seat us. The food was just alright (does not compare to The Waffle Window in Oregon). We tried the farmer in the dell, eggcellent, praise the lard, we found the beef, strawberry fields and the farmyard pup. We didn't like how they couldn't bring our sides with our entree. We had to ask for our sides to be brought to us. Maybe this place is short staffed because it all seemed a little chaotic. Will have to try the one in Folsom before I completely write it off.
