I felt like the servers were inattentive by choice. After I was seated, they kept walking by my table without even acknowledging that I might have been ready to order. After about 10 minutes, a waitress came and asked me for my drink order and brought chips. The cooks must have been on a lunch break, as I waited about 30 minutes for my food. The menu needs some serious development and better pricing. The burrito only had meat and salsa for $8.95, yet their super burrito style came as an entree with more rice and beans and the tiniest pinch of shredded romaine with 3 bits of tomato for $12.95. I ordered the enchiladas plate ($12.95), which over half of the plate was rice and beans and not enchiladas. Terrible waste of my money. I was very unhappy and won't return here.

Best Mexican food in Sacramento. True flavors that won’t make your stomach hurt later. Very nice staff. Great for families.

Boy oh boy did the Margarita work. Friday night they have 3 musicians that were playing joyful Mexican music. I was singing along and having a ball. Sure the food is consistently great. I've consumed a lot of Mexican food over the years, and how I judge it is: is the rice not dried out, does it have flavor? Is the burrito or chimichunga not burnt not dried out...all if this was fine. The owner son works at the Sacramento location and he is s "ham", he was singing to the Marachis also.

This is a pretty good stop for Mexican food, but if looking for a more upscale atmosphere, I would probably go somewhere else. I had the street tacos meal with rice and refried beans. I really liked the al pastor. The salsa was good, but I've had a little better on that. The locals definitely like this place because I kept hearing them come in and being recognized by name. As far as being a nice sit-down place, it is what it is, an older building that doesn't have a good bathroom or dining set up. Very friendly staff!
