This food is about as close as you can get to Grandma's home cooked. Everything from the steak to the pancakes to the split pea soup. It was flavored perfectly and it was delightful. So much comfort in the food and the ambiance. They have a bar area with beers on tap. Sweet and pleasant servers and lots of happy customers! If you're a pancake person, and even if you're not but you get that craving every so often, this is where you need to be. There pancakes are ridiculously fluffy and just the right texture/flavor. It's like the pancake jackpot! And there was no shortage of ham in the split pea soup. There was actually more ham than I could even eat! The breakfast sampler is pictured here and it is a filling breakfast! Get over to Eppie's!

This visit was disappointing. Not because of the food, though. The service was good. Coffee was a bit slow to be refilled. The real issue was on the bill. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and the oatmeal combo with one cup of coffee. The check came and it was over $24. I was confused as to how this was possible and that's where the customer service really became the issue. It was disheartening to ask the waitress how she came up with that total, when looking at the menu it should never have been that much. The answer I got was, "Yeah. That's not the price. It's kind of our fault because the menu makes it look like that. But it's not." So due to her lack of interest in a decent explanation on how she charged for my breakfast sandwich and why she overcharged us for the oatmeal combo that clearly is listed on menu for a certain price to include certain items, we won't be going back. It's unfortunate because it was our new favorite spot. Everyone in the family could agree that it was the best. But I'm not going to spend my hard earned money where it's not appreciated.

Vary pleasant Waiteress's very quick with our drinks after that the food order was taken. Our food was gotten in a very timely matter. A quick smile from the server and down to eating. Very pleasant meal
