Expensive, salsa was bland, and they give you very little food. I had a double chicken bowl and I got the same amount of chicken that's in a regular bowl... How are you greedy with your chicken at El Pollo Loco? Then they had a big puddle of water in front of the soda machine that they didn't clean up. So we had to walk in the puddle. I remember El Pollo Loco being very tasty, good price, and good service. Now they are the worst place to go to. Very surprised with them. They don't even deserve a star!

The employees are slow to the register. They looked at us and just turned away as if they didn't see us standing there. This also happened to another couple that came in after us. But once they took our order we got our food pretty quickly.

We visited in mid-afternoon, between lunch and dinner. Food was fresh, servings were generous, but my chicken was a bit dry. Dipping sauce solved that issue. Premises were clean, and staff was attentive and friendly. Would gladly return if I'm in the area.

Tonite my husband ordered me the shrimp salad to go, as I was enjoying it, this long, coarse blonde hair went down my throat. I was disgusted especially when I had to take it back out. After that I lost my appetite completely and said to myself, I will never eat here again. If that person who made my salad took the appropriate measures to properly put her hair up in a bun or a net or something! That probably wouldn't have happened. I am still so grossed out.

It's always different. Sometimes it's great and then sometimes it's just blah. Had metallic taste in my mouth after the last time i went. I keep giving them chances to get it right because they are affordable.
