Cuisine in San Diego doesn't get much better than this restaurant. Beautiful views of the Torrey Pines golf course (one of the most beautiful spots on the planet) and really amazing food and lovely ambiance. This restaurant knows what it is doing. It is super expensive, so we go there once a year for some special occasion and end up dropping $200+ for 2 people. But, oddly, it is really worth it. And one of the few restaurants where you can have a conversation without having to shout.

Visited for my mom-in-laws birthday party for some desserts. Initially, we were seated inside of the restaurant but wanted to enjoy the evening by the pool side. When we requested for a reseating after our meal, the staff took care of us without any question in such a friendly manner. The food was amazing, and couldn't have asked for a better evening. On the way out, the servers were very courteous and we certainly want to be back to celebrate more events. Thank you!

We were seated outside on the terrace, which is lovely and picturesque, but you may want to ask to be seated next to the railing(where they have individual heaters that can be raised or lowered to keep you comfortably warm) rather than take a table under the patio eaves for the following reason. Please let me stress that the food was lovely and the service attentive and always courteous. But, I am so sorry to write that our entire evening and celebratory birthday dinner was absolutely ruined because the overhead patio heaters caused all five of us to be so uncomfortably hot. Within in minutes of sitting down, we asked if they could please turn down the heaters. It was explained that it was either all or nothing with these heaters and other diners on the patio would then complain to have them turned on. We suffered miserably throughout the entire meal, declined dessert and coffee, just wanting to pay and leave. We asked numerous times if there wasn't something that could be done to turn down the heaters, only to be given apologies that no, nothing short of turning them off could be done. I was literally faint from the heat and my daughter's face was so red from heat I thought she was going to pass out. There were no alternative seating options possible either. Although this is a wonderful restaurant and the food and servers very good, it is really a shame the overhead patio heaters were so intense that it literally ruined the entire dining experience for us.

Best burger in the world, and I'm from Nebraska. Service is amazing. Sit on the deck if you can.
