We were staying close by on vacation and went to BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse for a quick dinner. Chelsea, our waitress was also from NY and was the best! Our son loved her and she went out of her way to speak to him every time she came to the table. Food was delicious and they have 50% off ribs on Thursdays. The rib special including salad, and dessert was only $10! We were all really happy with our meals, including the kids mac and cheese with fries:) The dessert, the Pizookie Trio, was amazing and the perfect for sharing. We would highly recommend with a special hello from our son to Chelsea! We almost went back for a second time the next day. Sandi and Rich Langtry

Food is great. Literally every meal I've had here tasted good. Buffalo burger, deep dish pizza, new york pizza, pizookies, starters, etc. All good. Atmosphere is fine, but I think they'd be better off with a bigger sized restaurant. It's not small, but I feel like they could use more space. It's not the cheapest food in La Jolla, either.

My "to go" food came out fast. You can tell it's a great restaurant it's always packed, reason why I ordered my food to go. My turkey sandwich was nice and the fresh out of the fryer fries were terrific.

Service was friendly. The food was good, came at a reasonable time. Got the prime rib, it was seasoned very well and cooked to how I asked. The appetizer came to the table very quickly. The refills on the drinks were also on point. The pizokie was delicious, recommend the cookies and cream!

This bjs took over the old TGI Fridays spot, an old favorite of mine for late night drinking so I was glad they added a full bar as the previous location across the parking lot only had beer and wine. The food here is always on point, reasonably priced and their cocktail menu is extensive. I ordered a Strongbow cider and a Turkey dip sandwich, both of which tasted delicious. I love a good Au Jaus but I have trouble with beef so this delighted my eyes to see a turkey version. My co-worker also loved her food and her beer and the waiter was incredibly nice. Even the supervisor went out of her way to get a box to go before we even asked. They have really stepped up their game since opening this spot only bout 2 years ago. Quality of service here truly puts a smile on my face.
