Horrible service. Waited 30 minutes to get food that never arrived. They started serving other people that had arrived there after me, I only had 30mintues to eat, I thought it'd be fast. It wasn't. I went to ask for a refund and my plate was there on the counter. As the server was preparing other people food. They offered me another plate to go, but I just didn't have time. I left. Don't come here for fast service.

I love it that it's minutes from where I live. I've been going to Rubio's for years. My first visit was 20 yrs. ago in Pacific Beach, I fell in love and it's awesome that it's here in Mira Mesa. Best time to go, like anywhere else, is AFTER the lunch rush.

The food was great, the service was excellent,we used to eat at Rubios in Daly City Northern California but they closed so we came today from San Francisco and the first thing we did was to go to Rubios, great as always

Always order the fish tacos. I got beef, and it was very meh, but my friends were smarter than I was. 5 stars to the fish, 3 to anything else: average 4.

Nice place to eat. Try the grilled shrimp California bowl. It's really tasty.
