We stopped into The Mission Mission Beach when we were looking for a quick breakfast on our way to Sea World. I saw a quick review that said it was an unexpected find in Mission Beach. We parked across the street (paid parking, I think it was $5) Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great! We were there with our 3 year old and it was very kid friendly. It was the perfect laid back atmosphere. It was hard to choose what to order because everything sounded delicious! It was also a quick two minute walk to the beach. Perfect way to start the day. Although it took us a while to find parking on an early Monday morning, we stopped in to Mission for breakfast. Our party of four was seated immediately and the service was phenomenal. We all ordered some form of egg/meat/potato platter and were blown away by the food. Rosemary potatoes were to die for, but everything else was perfection. It may have been one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten. The portions were gigantic, so we definitely could have shared. I'll definitely make a special trip to Mission next time I'm in San Diego.

First time at The Mission and it did not disappoint. I usually don't like foo-foo breakfast places, but my wife does, so I have to go. I ordered the pancakes with scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. Everything was delicious and the eggs were awesome (they must add something cause they were good) I added salsa and it was fresh. Wife ordered a vegeterian Mexican tamale dish (foo-foo) and she loved it. Our server Dave was awesome, great server and nice person.

The food was pretty darn good and our waitress was super nice and helpful. Although when I ordered my chicken I was not expecting 2 little chicken links, I was expecting real chicken. The wait was a little long especially considering the girl doing check ins forgot to ask for our names to put them down on the wait list.

Good, friendly service! Got all the coffee I wanted with breakfast, the food was very good also. Good selection of American diner fare and Mexican breakfast fare. Out the door for $20 with some french toast, side of bacon, and coffee.
